Charles Edward Morris

Charles Edward Morris Sr. 79 of Gordonsville passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026 at his residence. He was born October 13, 1946 in Charlottesville and was the son of the late Clarence Lillard Morris and Beulah Powell Morris. Charles was also preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Jean Morris Lam, Irene Morris, Elsie Morris Lawson;and a granddaughter, Jenny Crum.

He retired from Liberty Fabric in Gordonsville, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Shelva Mae Lewis Morris; daughters, Tina Morris Crum (Willie), Robin E. Morris Silva; son, Charles "Bud" E. Morris; brothers, Lonnie Powell, Clarence "Pete" Morris Jr., Carl Woodrow Morris, Lester H. Morris, Betty Jean Morris Lam, Mary Morris Shifflett,Lawson; grandchildren, Dereallen Brookman, Chastity B. Rogers (Josh), Ridge Crum, Jearlyn Crum Peterson (Kenny), Phillip Silva, Bryan Silva Seth Morris, Chelsea Morris; great-grandchildren, Chasdyn, Delaney, Raine, Paisley and Blaise Bickel, Kason and Aubryn Johnson, Cori, Coltyn and Luxtyn Peterson, Jaxson Morris; great-great-grandson, Rhettley Cooper.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville is assisting the family.
