George “Butch” Edward Powell, 83 of Orange, Va., passed away on February 26, 2026 at Autumn Care of Madison, Va. He was born on February 21, 1943 to the late Donald Eugene Powell and Mary Frances Brooks Powell. He was also preceded by his sister, Ronnetta “Ronnie” Clark and his brother, Donald “Rocky” E. Powell.
He is survived by his son, Harold Thomas Powell of Melbourne, Australia.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
