Saturday, March 28, 2026, he passed away at home with family & loved ones. Husband to Janice Kay Hart for 57 years.
Father to 3 sons, Ronald (Bonnie) Hart, James (Megan) Hart & William (Katrina) Hart Jr.

Grandfather to Carter (Rachel) Hart, Lillian Hart, Willie Hart, Ginny Hart, Alyssa, and Willow.

Great-grandfather to a very special and adored Jackson William Hart.

Surviving brothers: Norton (Denise) Moore, Howard (Amy) Hart, Kevin (Karen) Hart, Kenneth (Cindy) Howard

Surviving sisters: Shelley (Randy) Kemp, Millie “Penny” (Pio Sr, deceased) Canganelli, Amy Jo Hart, Nikki Hart.

Hank was born in Baltimore, MD. Son of the late Howard Shelley Hart Sr.& Mary Lee (Miller). He was a long-time resident of Rapidan, Va. He was an accomplished local musician devoted to Gospel and Bluegrass Music. Well known in the equestrian community for his knowledge of Mules. His love for the land & livestock transcends to the man he really was in life. Never saw a man so devoted to family, farm & life.

He will be missed by many & those of us who hold him dear.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 3, at Graham Cemetery, 14191 Constitution Highway, Orange, VA, 22960.
