Florence Elizabeth Nicholson Morgan

Florence Elizabeth Nicholson Morgan, 85, of Madison, VA., passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Green Acres Rehabilitation. She was born on December 10, 1940, to the late Richard Bailey Nicholson and Sarah Catherine Woodward Nicholson. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Woodward and son-in-law, Dale Woodward; brother, George Bailey Nicholson; sister, Ida “Julie” Johnson; grandson, Richard Fant; niece, Donna Jenkins, and best friend, Ida Mae Dyer. Florence worked at Blue Bell in Madison and Alfred Teves in Culpeper. Later she opened her home to be a caregiver for many people and showed her love for each one. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Fant and wife Liz, Oliver Richard Fant and wife Peggy Lynn, Archie Hughes Coleman; brother, Samuel Nicholson and wife Lois; sister-in-law, Daisy Bell Nicholson; 4 nieces; 1 nephew; 12 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchilden. The family will receive friends at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison on Friday, September 26, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm., with Pastor Jeff Light officiating. Interment will be private.
