Alease Wright Williams
Alease Wright Williams was born September 15, 1932, in Richmond, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late James and Beatrice Wright. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Rudolph Williams, her parents James and Beatrice Wright, a sister Marion Eloise Short, brothers James Clarence Wright Jr., and Albert Alexander Wright.
She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1956 from Virginia Union University. She began her teaching career in 1957 in the Richmond Public Schools. She served as a classroom teacher an also as a program coordinator for the second and third grade classes.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. A member of the Delver's Woman Club, a past member of the Delta Kappa Sorority and a past member of the Ladies Sodality.
She is survived by a loving and devoted family, daughter Cheryl Williams
Thornton, grand-daughter Taylor Alease Thornton and great-granddaughter Dalanni Amor Beaver; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends, devoted Dorothy Wright, Joan Wright and Denise Wright.
