Edith Lucille Alley

Edith Lucille Alley, 89 of Charlottesville, Va. passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Sentra Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on November 20, 1936 to the late Dennis Edward Hall and Margie Grant Bruce Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Ray Alley; sisters, Ruby Willoughby and Irene Glass; and brother, Dennis William Hall
Edith was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was the backbone of her family, and she loved her family and friends immensely.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Medeiros and son, Mike Alley and wife, Christine; sisters, Virginia Herdon, Betty Willoughby, Jannie Bryant, Dorothy Jones, Daisy Kidd; brother, Guy Hall; grandchildren, Tracy Everly and fiance’ Kevin, Charlie Scott and wife Erika, Peyton Alley and fiancee’ Hope; great-grandchildren, Hannah Scott and Caden Scott.
A private service will be held at a later date.
