Edna Sue Edwards                                    October 1, 2025 Edna Sue Edwards, 88, of Red Hill Road, Orange, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. She was born on November 21, 1936 in McBurg, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Martin C. Reed and Annie Virginia Robison Reed and was also predeceased by two sisters. She was a member of the Lower Rapidan Baptist Church in Rapidan.
She is survived by her husband Rev. John K. Edwards of Orange; three daughters Kimberly Sue Heacox and husband Bill of Ruckersville, Judy Lynn Moody and husband Jim of Wetumpka, AL, and Michelle Louise Tiede and husband Jason of Madison, Al.; one son John Keith Edwards III of Raleigh, NC; ten grandchildren Michaela Heacox, Amy Heacox, Brittany Jenkins, Megan Thompson, Ryan Edwards, Haylee Stancill, Emily Edwards, Jacob Edwards, Collin Tiede, and Dylan Tiede; two great grandchildren Karleigh Jenkins and Jameson Jenkins.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange, with interment in the Graham Cemetery, Orange. Rev. Rick Clore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Home, Orange.
