James John Carroll

James Carroll, 66 died unexpectedly at his home in Castleton, Va. on January 27th.
He was born on February 6, 1959 in Beverly, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Don and Helen Carroll of Sperryville.

Jim was a retired electrician who worked many years for the local 26 electrical union in DC. Jim was also an armed services veteran who served proudly as a US Army Ranger.

Those left to cherish his memory: Brother Edward Carroll (Kelley) of Hickory, NC; Niece Michelle (Logan) Hefner of Newton, NC; and Nephews Stephen (Alyssa) Carroll, and Phillip (Lizzy) Carroll both of Winston Salem, NC as well as 1 great nephew (Jackson Hefner) and 3 great nieces (Josie, Nora, and Ella Carroll).

A memorial service in Jim’s honor will be scheduled for a later date.
