Joe Crews

Joe Crews, 86, passed away on October 15, 2025, at his residence in Orange. Born April 30, 1939, in Lerona, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Clarence Elberta and Grace Via Crews.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Roberts Crews.

He is survived by his daughters, Angela Stanley of King George, and Jennifer Morris (Rob) of Fredericksburg; his brothers, Jerry Crews (Margaret) of Barboursville and James Crews (Joyce) of Zion Crossroads; sisters, Margie Waddy of Lynchburg, Connie Nichols (Ray) of West Virginia, and Patricia Harris of Lerona, West Virginia; grandchildren, Nick Stanley, Meghan Stanley, Corey Martin, Nadia Orvos and Nora Orvos; and great-grandchildren, Conner Joe Stanley, Julia Stanley, Carl Johnson and Olivia Johnson.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Graham Cemetery in Orange, Virginia. Preddy Funeral Home Orange Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
