Laura Susan Smith, 74 of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 9, 1951 to the late John Estes and Shirley Gayle Beasley.
Laura was employed at Blue Bell in Madison for many years and after their closing, she worked for Atlantic Union Bank in Madison. She was a member of Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren in Ruckersville, Va.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Ellis Smith; daughter, Cindy Smith; son, Michael Smith and wife Brandi; sister, Beverly Armstrong; grandchildren, Koby Smith and Kimberly Smith.
