Virginia Irene Bradbury Davis

Virginia Irene Bradbury Davis, 95, of Red Oak Lane, Orange, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her residence. Irene was born on December 8, 1930, in Richmond, and was the daughter of the late Earl Vernon Bradbury and Helen Hall Marsh Bradbury. She was also predeceased by her husband Joseph “Boots” Thomas Davis, and two sisters, Marjorie Marie Blankenbaker, and Phyllis Ann Gallihugh. Irene was a member of the Orange Presbyterian Church, and served as Secretary of the Graham Cemetery Association for many years.

Irene is survived by two daughters, Betty Ann Shifflett and husband Mack of Barboursville, and Dora Lynne Davis of Orange; two sons, Anthony Hiram Davis of Orange, and Raymond Lee Davis of Orange; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial funeral service may be held at a later date. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
