Alan "Bubba" Dale Mullins

August 27, 1963 - March 26, 2024

Alan Dale “Bubba” Mullins 60, passed away Tuesday March 26, 2024 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, with his loving family by his side.

Dale was born August 27, 1963 in Fairfax, VA to Clinton “Sam” and Brenda Irving Mullins.

Dale leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 11 years Alesia Mullins, his parents Clinton “Sam” and Brenda Irving Mullins, three sons Andrew Grey (Amanda Gimbert), Michael Mullins, and Alan Dale Mullins Jr., one daughter Sara Mullins, two brothers Dean Mullins (Penny), and David Mullins (Michelle), one sister Tracy “Sis” Mullins (Dan Rhoades), two nephews, Tyler Mullins and Eric Martin, two nieces B. J. Suire (Jesse), and Ariana Dawson, one great niece Brianna Shifflett.

Dale had numerous friends and family, which loved him dearly.

Dale loved to camp, fish and hunt, but most of all being an active member of The Moose, Waynesboro Moose Lodge #1309, and Staunton Moose Lodge #1635, holding several large positions within, Verona Moose Lodge #2172, Governor, Acting Governor, Jr. Governor, and Jr. Past Governor, Charlottesville Moose Lodge #1028, Administrator, Shenandoah Valley Moose Legion #47, Sergeant at Arms, President, Vice President, and Jr. Past President, VMA District 6, President, Vice President, and Jr. Past President.

Dale was employed by Security 101.

Dale had a successful Liver Transplant on January 5, 2024, his wife Alesia and family would like to thank the UVA Transplant Clinic and all the staff at UVA for the outstanding care that they gave him during this time, a special thanks to Dr. Ziv Haskal, Dr. Nicholas Goldaracena, and Dr. Zachary Henry for going above and beyond.

The family will receive friends on Thursday April 4, 2024; from 5:00 p.m.to, 8:00 p.m. at Teague Funeral Service 2260 Ivy Road Charlottesville, VA, 22903. Funeral Service will be on Friday April 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Teague Funeral Service, Interment will follow the funeral service at Church of Our Saviour, followed by a reception in the Social Hall at Church of Saviour, all are welcome to attend.

Pallbearers for Dale will be Andrew Grey, Dean Mullins, Tyler Mullins, Alan Boggs, Eric Martin, and Mark Lail Sr.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation in Dale’s memory to Child City and School in Mooseheart, IL, or Moosehaven Retirement Community in Orange Park, FL.
