Roger Lee Berry

Roger Lee Berry, 74 of Brightwood, passed away on August 8, 2023 in Charlottesville, Va. at the Center for Acute Hospice Care. Roger was born on August 17, 1948 in Madison County, the son of the late Roy Albert Berry and Page K. Jackson Berry. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Alize Keyser Berry and several brothers and sisters.

Roger was an avid outdoorsman and retired from William Hazel Construction Company in 2011.

Roger is survived by his wife, Constance Berry; four children, Lisa Gough, Roger Lee Berry, Jr., Dennis Berry, and Joy Utz; two stepsons, Steven M. Cazeault and Christopher D. Cazeault; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Bradley, Roy, Douglas, and Jesse Berry.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison, Va. Pastor Russell Biber will be conducting the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
