Bernard Wilson Goodwin

Bernard Wilson Goodwin, 75, of Glen Allen, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Born November 8, 1947, in Charlottesville, Va., he was the son of the late Bernard E. Goodwin, Jr., and Sybile R. (Snead) Goodwin.

Bernard faithfully served his nation in the United States Air Force, from 1969 to 1973. He worked for and retired from Dominion Energy. He loved to golf and to go to the ocean, especially Nags Head.

Bernard is survived by his loving wife of nearly 33 years, Arlene; one brother, David Goodwin; three sisters, Linda Tanner, Carolyn Barnett, and Janet Emanuele; two nieces; two nephews; and two great nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Hill & Wood Funeral Home in Charlottesville.
