Betty Harper Arbogast

Betty Harper Arbogast, 96, of Charlottesville, Va., died on August 9, 2023 at The Laurels of Charlottesville.

Born July 16, 1927 in Charlottesville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Arbogast II and Carolyn Deane Arbogast. She was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Arbogast III, and sister, Katherine Morris.

Betty is survived by nephew Ben Arbogast IV and his wife, San, nephew Jerry Arbogast and his wife, Ann, and niece Sue Has and her husband, Steve.

The family offers a special thank you to the staff of The Laurels and Legacy Hospice for their care and attention.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Church of Our Saviour on Rio Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Church of Our Saviour, 1165 East Rio Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
