Bobby Woodrow Bryant

Bobby Woodrow Bryant, 68, of Afton received his early wings on December 23, 2023.  He fought cancer for 5 years with positivity.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 35 years Geraldine, his stepchildren Rosalind Stratton and Tonia Driver; step-grandchildren Quajaiha and Medaija Wallace. Bobby is survived by his daughter Katy Barnes; granddaughter Augusta; daughter Jennifer Renee Carroll; grandchildren Cadence and Chayce.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father Wilson Bryant. He is survived by his mother Barbara Bryant and stepfather Rev. John Sullivan; sisters Nancy Chernault; Gail Clark (Buddy); and brother Gary Bryant along with many nieces and nephews.
Bobby worked for Crompton Plant and he sold fire wood. He was manager of Royal Orchard Land Corp. for over 30 years. He was an outdoors man who loved to hunt ginseng and fish. His favorite place was a piece of mountain land he worked to clear off behind his home. 
When Bobby’s father passed, he and his brother Gary took over the family farm. Bobby will be missed by his family and friends, and especially his beloved dog Reagan.
A visitation will be held on January 2, 2024 from 5:00pm - 7:00 pm at McDow Funeral Home in Waynesboro, VA. A funeral service will be held on January 3, 2024 at 2:30pm at Hebron Baptist Church in Afton, VA.
