Bonnie Jo Prince

Bonnie Jo Prince, 69 of Madison, Va. passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at UVA Hospital. She was born on May 11, 1954 to the late Joseph Edward Sams and Annie Cleo Morgan Sams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Prince, Sr. and son, Gregory Todd Carrico.

She was a dedicated wife and loving mother, always putting her children first even if it meant going without.

She is survived by her daughters, Katrina Rochelle Chavez of Dunn, N. C., Jennifer Prince Lilley and husband Robert of Palm Bay, Fl., Braila Mya Prince of Madison; sons, Michael Ross Carrico of Madison, Christopher James Prince of Harnett, N. C. Jimmy Lee Prince, Jr. and wife Angelica of Madison; and sister, Glena Faye Cooper and husband Warren of Gordonsville, Va.; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison. Family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be In Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton, Va.
