Brandon Martyn

Brandon Michael Martyn, age 36, of Gordonsville, VA, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Born on August 29, 1989, he was the son of Michael David Martyn and Beverly Smith Martyn. Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roy Franklin Smith, Jr. and paternal grandparents, Gilbert Isaac Martyn and Edith Marie Martyn.

Brandon is survived by his daughter, Skylar Marie Martyn; sister, Jennifer Martyn Reynolds and husband Josef; maternal grandmother, Thelma Hoffman Smith; and niece, Destiny Reynolds Heisler and husband Tucker.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026, at Preddy Funeral Home chapel in Gordonsville. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, with a private burial to follow.
