Brenda G. Haney Vest

Brenda G. Haney Vest, 75, of Charlottesville, VA died on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Born June 20, 1948, she was the daughter of R. Milton and N. Louise Gibson Haney. She was preceded in by her parents, and her son, Willie Dale Vest, Jr.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Willie Dale Vest; and her brother, Michael Haney and his wife, Wendy of Barboursville, Va.; their children, Ashley and Austin Haney, many maternal cousins; and her aunt, Nancy Gibson of Crozet, Va.; and her special friend, Diane Guilford.

Special thank you to the MICU team at UVA who took such good care of her during her last days.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be planned in the next few weeks.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Caring for Creatures, 352 Sanctuary Ln, Palmyra, VA 22963.
