Cameron Jordan Wilson
Cameron Jordan Wilson
Cameron was a special young man who left this earth much too soon! To know Cameron was to love him. He had a very large, caring and kind heart. He was knowledgeable in so many areas and it was always fascinating to learn new information from him on a large variety of topics. He had many interests and shared those interests with others fortunate enough to know him. Several of his special hobbies were military reenactments, arm lifting, video games and being a gourmet chef.
Cameron attended Albemarle County Schools, Field School, and graduated from Hopewell City Schools. Additionally, he attended Piedmont Virginia Community College.
Cameron is survived by his loving fiancée, Rachel Leathers, who he cherished deeply and looked forward to spending a long, successful life together as partners in every way. They recently added Ollie, a miniature dachshund, to their family and Cameron was a proud “dada” to Ollie. He is also survived by his dear mother, Andrea Wilson of Virginia Beach; Grandfather Jack Wilson and partner, Beth Baptist of Keswick; aunt, Monica Wilson of Richmond; Rachel’s parents, sister and her husband, nieces, and nephew, of Charlottesville; and several cousins, uncles, and aunts from North Carolina and Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, “Nana” Sue Wilson.
There will be a reception for family and friends at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Hill and Wood Funeral Home, 201 North 1st Street, Charlottesville, VA, 22902. Please join us as we remember and celebrate Cameron’s short but very meaningful life.
For donations in his memory, please select a charity for animal rescue or military reenactments. These were two of Cameron’s passions. One suggestion is K Kids Dachshund Rescue of Virginia kkidsrescue.org
While Cameron may not physically remain with us, he will be forever in our hearts!
Condolences may be shared on the tribute wall.
