Charles "Charlie" Dennis Miller

Charles Dennis “Charlie” Miller Jr., age 73, of Gordonsville, Virginia, passed away on April 1, 2024.

Born on October 7, 1950, he was the son of the late Charles Dennis Miller Sr. and Virginia Gaynell Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Wayne Miller and John Kelly Miller; and a sister, Betty Jean Scott.



Charlie was a quality control manager of Liberty Fabrics in Gordonsville for 34 years. He then worked at Paint N’ Paper, Brown Toyota, and C&C Auto Repair. Charlie was a member of the Gordonsville Lion’s Club, a member of Journey Church in Orange, as well as a member of the Peach Grove Church softball league.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia O’Connor “Peaches” Miller; daughter, Cheryl Denise Miller Langford; sons, Charles Dennis “Chuck” Miller III and his wife April, and Thomas Knowles Jr.; son-in-law, Bobby Langford; brother, George F. Miller; sisters, Lois A. Miller Dillon, Brenda Miller Halsey, Yvonne Miller Wright, Robin Donald, Viola M. Gentry, and Nancy M. Crickenburger; grandchildren, Brandon K. Langford, Joshua N. Langford, Aryana G. Miller, Delaney P. Miller, Aubrie N. Miller, Chesney D. Miller, and Aliyah R. Miller; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Journey Church, 13286 James Madison Hwy, Orange, Virginia. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Graham Cemetery.
