Curtis Martin Templeton

Curtis Martin Templeton, 68, of Charlottesville, VA passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023, at UVA Hospital with his daughter by his side. Martin was born on April 20, 1955, to Bennie and Alease Templeton.

Martin was employed at The Korner Restaurant where he cooked for over 30 years working alongside Phillip and the staff, where he would make many lifelong friends.

Martin was preceded in death by his father, Bennie C. Templeton Sr.; his mother, Alease; and his brother, Bennie C. Templeton, Jr.

Martin was survived by his daughter, Blair Templeton; two grandchildren, Maddox & Jalayah; three brothers, Phillip Templeton (Phyllis), Wallace Templeton (Robin), Clay Templeton (Lori); five nieces and two nephews.

The family would like to thank The Laurels staff where Martin lived for the past 18 months.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Teague Funeral Home, 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. He will be buried Tuesday in a private ceremony.
