David Linwood Lawrence

David Linwood Lawrence, 75 of Zion Crossroads, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 4, 2026 after a long illness. He was born October 13, 1950 in Waynesboro , Virginia, son of Peggy Thurston Mocklin and Emmett Ray Lawrence. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lane Lawrence: four children, Dwight David Lawrence, (Carolita), Brittany Lawrence Herring (Adam), Robert Jenkins IV (Amanda), Michael Jenkins (Amy): 8 grandchildren, Summer, Noah, Caleb, Jaxson, Jayden, Grayson, Logan and Nicholas: two sisters, Pauline Koechler and Sydney Meeks. He was proceeded in death by his brothers, Russell Moore and Robert Lawrence and daughter Tina Lawrence Bachman. He served our country in the Army and after release began a long life of public service. Service and burial will be private.
