Deborah Page Flint

September 19, 1952 - July 31, 2024

Deborah Page Flint, 71, of Stuarts Draft, VA died July 31, 2024 at her home after fighting cancer for the past year. She was born September 19, 1952 in Orange, VA, daughter of the late William (Billy) Amos.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; her mother, Barbara Arlene (Southard) Amos of Orange, VA; sister, Sandra (Sandy) Amos of Stuarts Draft; brother, Michael Amos of Crozet, VA; her nephews, Michael “Brandon” (Shannon) Amos and family, Ryan (Amber) Amos and family of Orange, VA, brother-in-law, Gary (Cyndi) Flint and family of Greenwich, Ohio, sister-in-law, Debbie and family, and sister-in-law, Kay (Sam) Wise of New Philadelphia, OH.

Debbie was a graduate of Orange High School and James Madison College. After college, Debbie got a teaching job at Danville Public Schools in Danville, VA where she taught numerous children about the art of music. She retired in 2010 after 36 years of teaching.

She was of the Methodist faith, attending St. Lukes UMC in Danville where she served as choir director. Upon her retirement she moved to Stuarts Draft and attended Calvary UMC. She was a regular attendee and sang in the choir there. She served on the Pastor Parrish Committee of which she became chairman. She attended Sunday school and numerous bible studies.

We all are going to miss her smile and bubbly personality in helping others in their travel down the path of the Lord. We can’t forget her love of NASCAR, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Larson, and William Byron.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Stuarts Draft, VA.
