Delmer Nelson Morris

Delmer N. Morris, age 78 of Troy, Va., passed away on Thursday, December 7th after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. He was the son of the late Ollie and Mary Morris of Earlysville, Va. He will be remembered for his kindness and sweet smile. Delmer’s occupation was carpentry. He worked for many builders before he was employed at Uva Facility Management.

He is survived by his wife Ann S. Morris married for 46 years, his stepdaughter Debbie Reese and step-granddaughters Lindsey and Josie Rappold, bothers Charles who precedes him, Dewey and his wife Lillie who helped out in so many ways and two sisters Scarlet Lane and Barbara Jones as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

We want to thanks Carol and the kind and loving staff that took care of him over the years while he resided at Rosewood on Greenbriar Dr.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date
