Dorthy June Akerman McKeen

Dorthy June Ackerman McKeen, 92, of Charlottesville, Va. died on January 27, 2024.

She was born April 7, 1931 in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Charles and Emily Ackerman. Dorthy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her daughter Cheryl Bodden.

She was the proud mother of three children and numerous poodles. Dorthy is survived by one son, Robert McKeen, Jr. and his wife Yan of the home; daughter Linda Lambert of Roanoke, Va.; son-in-law Lee Bodden of Maryland; and three grandchildren, Richard Bodden and wife Heather of Chicago, Ill.; Stephen Bodden of Laurel, Md. and Grace DeAvila and husband Gabe of Tampa, Fla.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Holly Memorial Gardens.
