Edlar "Buddy" Eugene Miller

Edlar “Buddy” Eugene Miller, Jr. 47, of Crozet passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at UVA Hospital.

Buddy was born on April 4, 1976 to Edlar Eugene Miller Sr. and Carolyn (Baber) Miller. Native to the Crozet area, Buddy loved and was loved by all those he met. He spent so much of his time helping others and being there for anyone who needed him. Buddy had many friends, he considered all of his friends his brothers and sisters. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.

Buddy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Theresa Miller and his maternal grandparents, Henry Baber and Lucy Branch.

Buddy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved parents, Edlar Eugene Miller, Sr. and Carolyn (Baber) Miller; his sister, Tracey Barbour and her husband, Garnett; his niece who was more like his sister, Natasha Baber; his nieces, Shauna, Chelsea, Brianna, Latoya, and Kaylee. He also leaves behind his cousins and numerous great nieces and great nephews whom he loved very much.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Teague Funeral Service, 2260 Ivy Road Charlottesville, VA 22903. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Crozet Baptist Church, 5804 St. George Avenue Crozet, VA 22932 with Pastor David Collyer presiding. Interment will immediately follow at Rockgate Cemetery, 981 Crozet Avenue Crozet, VA 22932.
