Edward Lee Goolsby

Edward Lee Goolsby, age 59, died peacefully in his sleep on January 8, 2025 at his home.

Ed was born July 3, 1965 at University of Virginia Hospital to the late William Andrew Goolsby and Martha Lee Goolsby.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother William (Randy) Goolsby.

Ed is survived by his brothers David Darnell Goolsby of Afton, Va, Tracey Goolsby (Misti Roberson-Goolsby), his sisters Tamara Goolsby (Robert Dean Layne) of Crozet, VA, Allison Dunnivan (George Harris) of Greenwood, VA, nephew Justin Goolsby (Samantha Garfield) of Scottsville, VA, nieces Samantha Goolsby, Caitlynn Layne, of Crozet, VA, Katie Dunnivan of Faber, VA, Riley B. Goolsby of Waynesboro, VA.

Sincere thanks to his cousins, and their wives for their love and support, Michael Collins, Rebecca Rea, Brian Collins, and Cecily Rea.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
