Eloise Pierce Allison

Eloise Pierce Allison, 91, of Charlottesville, passed away on August 7, 2024 at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.She was born on July 25, 1933 to Sarah Elizabeth Hutchinson and Vernon Franklin Pierce in Arlington, Virginia.She is survived by her grandchildren Jonathan David Welsh and Kristina (Krissy) Borjas, both of Raleigh, North Carolina. She is also survived by her sister, Christabel Pierce LaFever; her nieces Pamela Best, Denise Messerli, Jacquelyn Ragland; and nephews Gary LaFever, Charles Martin, and Donald Pierce.She loved her family, friends, the beach, puzzles, her occasional glass of wine & salty snacks.She truly loved the friendship, care and love of her best friend, Melissa Carter. She follows her husband, Richard Allison, and daughter, Cheryl Ann Benn to her final resting place.Her celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
