Elwood Anthony Barnes

Elwood Anthony Barnes, 61 of Brightwood, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 19, 1963 to the late Elwood Harrison Barnes and Ena Marie McCoy Barnes.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Marie Barnes; daughter, Kristin Marie Barnes; sons, Justin Anthony Barnes and wife Kristina and Aaron Ray Barnes; sister, Darlene Barnes Hopkins and husband Mike; grandchildren, Tia Marie Spaulding, Ryan Anthony Barnes, Ashlynn McKinley Barnes and Ryan Michael Humberger; sister-in-law, Charlie Sonich; brother-in-law, Johnny Rose.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Bob Slaven officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison. Interment will be in Etlan Cemetery.
