Emma Elizabeth Sisk

Emma Elizabeth Sisk, 95, of Hook Road, Rapidan died on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Autumn Care of Madison.  She was born on March 4, 1929, in Orange County and was the daughter of the late James Ross Richards and Carrie Elizabeth Gray Richards Turner.  She is also predeceased by her husband Wade Fillmore Sisk; a son Raymond W. Sisk; two brothers William R. Richards, and Stewart L. Richards; a stepbrother Woody M. Gallihugh; And three grandchildren Matthew Hearl, Jessie Hearl, and Donald Ray Sisk Jr.

Emma is survived by a daughter Thelma E. Sisk Hearl of Locust Dale; a son Donald R. Sisk of Rapidan; seven grandchildren Joanne Morris, Danny H. Sisk, Lisa A. Sisk, Rebekah Sisk, Daniel Sisk, Joshua Sisk, and Nathan Hearl; and there are thirteen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange with interment in the Graham Cemetery, Orange.  Rev. Kenny Barrow is officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at the Preddy Funeral Home, Orange.
