Evelyn Jeanette Deal Clarke

Evelyn Jeanette Deal Clarke, 88, of Spicers Mill Road, Orange died on Monday, August 28, 2023, at the Culpeper Regional Hospital. Evelyn was born on June 11, 1935 in Culpeper County and was the daughter of the late Fisher Deal and Julia Bailey Deal. She was also predeceased by her husband Robert Elsworth Clarke Sr; and a brother Walter Deal Sr. Evelyn was retired from Safeway after many years of service.

Evelyn is survived by a daughter Debbie Ann Bragan and husband Lawrence of Montford; two sons Robert Clarke Jr of Orange, and Jeffrey Scott Clarke of Orange; two grandchildren Lauren B. Hall and husband Jarred, and Robert W. Bragen and wife Katelyn; a sister Linda Feagan of FL; and a sister-in-law Pat Eppard and husband Hollis of Madison.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. graveside at the Graham Cemetery, Orange. Rev. Barry Higgins will officiate. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
