Floyd Emmett Morris, Jr                             March 6, 2025 Floyd Emmett Morris, Jr., 77, passed away on March 6, 2025, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born November 29, 1947, in Charlottesville VA to the late Floyd Emmett Morris, Sr and Louise Virginia Crawford Morris. He was predeceased by his son Brian Emmett Morris; sister, Brenda Graninger; grandchildren, Paisley Ava, Ainsley Mae, and Jordon Dix Morris.
Floyd served his country, with honor, in the US Army as a drill sergeant and is survived by his special cousin and caretaker, Jeanette Middleton; nephews, Keith Goshert (Lisa), Chris Goshert; childhood friend, James “Jimmy” Brown and various great nephews, nieces, family members and friends.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Mt Horeb United Methodist in Orange. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange assisted the family with arrangements.
