Frances L. (Fran) Peterson

Frances L. (Fran) Peterson passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, surrounded by her children. To her friends she was Fran, cherished “Nana” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and, above all, she was Mom to her children.

Fran was born in Neenah, Wisconsin on November 14, 1935. She was married to Philip R. (Dick) Peterson on June 28, 1958. Together, they navigated 60 incredible years, raising four children, exploring the world through travel, and creating enduring memories with family and friends until Dick’s passing in 2019.

Fran had a love for gardening, literature, and music, with a zestful curiosity for life. She will be remembered for her impeccable style, timeless class, and love of others.

Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Philip R. (Dick) Peterson. She leaves behind a lasting impact through her four children: Stu Peterson (Tambra Brenner), Paul Peterson (Judy), Raci Matzke (Chris), and Patty Schuebel (Martin). Additionally she is survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
