George Ralph Snow, 95, departed his earthly life on March 16, 2025. He was born on February 4th 1930, in Charlottesville, Va., to the late George Andrew Snow and Effie Knight Snow. He retired from Conagra Frozen Foods with 39 years of service.

He had a passion for gardening and mechanical work. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. You could find him most days watching his favorite western channel, wrestling, or on Sunday’s watching Nascar. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Doris Marie Snow; four brothers Cecil, Myron, James, Melvin; Sister Marie; two grandsons Russell Stone and Shaun Steppe.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Sandy Newman; two sons, Mike Snow wife Mary, Doug Snow and companion Donna; Sister Odell Smith; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

The family will receive family and friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Teague Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 11:00am at Evergreen Church in Dyke. Graveside to precede service at Evergreen.
