Harold Lee Lam

Harold Lee Lam, 68, of Barboursville, VA, passed away surrounded by his family on December 25, 2023. 

He was born on May 3, 1955 to the late Shirley Benjamin Lam and Mary Roach Lam. He is also preceded in death by his son, Bobby Joe Lam.

Harold was a man of great faith. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a very talented musician. He was an amazing fisherman and enjoyed RC car racing. Harold was a wise and humble man who loved his family and touched so many throughout his life with his love and wisdom.

Anyone who knew Harold could speak about the lengths he would go to help his family, but his love never stopped there. If you were in need of help, you could bet on Harold Lam to go out of his way to give you the support you need.

Someone as gracious and inspiring as Harold Lam comes by far too rarely. He taught many just how powerful one’s love can be and his actions have left a legacy as unbreakable as his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Sue Lam; his son, Harold Lee Lam Jr and wife, Tasha of Ruckersville, two grandchildren, Austin Lam and Abby Lam; a special nephew, Tony Lam of Barboursville; and two brothers, Charles Lam of Gordonsville and Leroy Lam of Barboursville.

The family will receive friends and family from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2023, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville, VA.
