Jacob Errin Baber

It is with heavy hearts we share that Jacob Errin Baber, 20, of Afton, VA passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in Charlottesville, VA.
Jacob was born April 4, 2003 in Augusta County, VA. He is the son of Matthew and Heather Rogers.
Jacob is survived by his siblings, Abigail Rogers, William Rogers, Hunter Rogers, Sierra Baber, Grace Baber, and Noah Baber. He is also survived by Jonathan E. Baber and Angela Nicole Devost. He was proceeded in death by his grandmother Lucille Toscano.
Jacob was a 2021 graduate of Western Albemarle High School and then a practicing tradesman.
Jacob was a “wild man” at heart and will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting and riding ATV’s. He was well loved by his friends and family. He had a smile that truly showed how big his heart was for those he loved and cherished.
We would like to thank all of our family, friends and community members that have reached out to support our family; we appreciate you all. Our Jacob will be forever missed.
The memorial service for Jacob will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 1pm at Crozet Baptist Church-5804 St. George Ave, Crozet, VA 22932. All are invited to fellowship with the family after the service from 2- 4pm at the Crozet Sportsman Club, 894 Miller School Rd. Charlottesville, VA 22903.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Community Attention Foster Families (DHS-CAFF 907 East Jefferson St Charlottesville, VA 22902) or the Food Pantry at Crozet Baptist Church-5804 St. George Ave, Crozet, VA 22932.
