Jason Scott Altman
Jason Scott Altman, loving husband and father, passed away at his home after an extended illness on July 1st, 2023.
Jason was born August 23, 1966 to Davis (Pete) and Margaret Altman. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech and married the love of his life Jeanette Martin Altman in 2001. They proudly raised one son, Jacob.
Jason loved family, football, baseball, woodworking, and playing any and every sport with his son. He was a lifelong Indianapolis Colts fan and never missed a chance to support his alma mater, Virginia Tech. He will be remembered for his true heart, quiet compassion, dry wit, and eagerness to help others.
Although he was very successful in his professional career, Jason always maintained that his greatest success was his marriage and family life.
Jason was preceded in death by his brother Bill Altman. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; son, Jacob; his parents, Pete and Margaret Altman; his twin sister, Vanessa; his brother, Steve and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends whom he cherished.
A celebration of Jason’s life will be held at a later date.
