Jeremy Shiflett
Jeremy Lee Thomas Shiflett, of Charlottesville, VA, born June 6, 1988, to Carron Shiflett, passed away on June 20, 2024, after battling mental illness. (John 10:28 K.J.V.). Jeremy is survived by his wife, Amanda Cloman, and beloved son, Jasper James. Also surviving are his mother, Carron; brother, Justin; grandmother, Nan; and nieces Ivy and Freya Jordan. Jeremy worked as a Utility Trades Assistant at the University of Virginia and had a deep passion for the outdoors, enjoying fishing, snowboarding, and frisbee golf with his best friend Marcus. He had a profound love for music, especially for bands like The String Cheese Incident and The Grateful Dead, whose music resonated deeply with him. He often found joy in attending music festivals and sharing these experiences with friends. He also cherished the thrill of fresh snow for snowboarding at Snowshoe or Wintergreen. Friends will remember his infectious enthusiasm for life and his unwavering devotion to the music that touched his soul.Jeremy's family and friends will forever cherish the boundless love and affection he had for them. Above all, Jeremy's greatest love was for Jasper, whom he adored with unwavering intensity. Jeremy's deepest desire would be to be remembered as Jasper's adoring father.A visitation for Jeremy will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Teague Funeral Service. A memorial service will occur Friday, June 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Teague Funeral Service.
