Jesse Cannon Hart

Jesse Cannon Hart, 53, of Palmyra, passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2023, after a valiant battle with Cancer. He was born in Charlottesville, Va. on October 6, 1970, to Robert Raiford Hart, Sr., and the late Patricia Porterfield Hart. He was also predeceased by his brother, Randolph Porterfield Hart.

He is survived by his wife Amy Michelle Hart and their daughter, Heather Michelle Hart; by his father Robert Raiford Hart, Sr. and his brother Robert Raiford Hart, Jr. Also surviving him are his nephew Robert R. Hart, III, his niece Lindsay Hart Karr, their families and a host of cousins and other extended family.

Jesse worked for many years for the Charlottesville School system as an Inventory Specialist as well as a coach of the Charlottesville High School Girl’s Tennis team.

He was an active member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church serving for many years in various roles in particular as a Deacon and as well as the head of the Multimedia.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 24, 2023, at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Wissinger officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Jesse will be laid to rest in the family plot at Ayden Cemetery, Ayden, North Carolina at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 25, 2023.
