John Thomas Farrell

John Thomas Farrell, 76, originally from Mineola, New York, passed away peacefully Friday, January 19th at home surrounded by family and friends.

John is survived by his wife, Catherine Farrell, daughter Kerri Stillwell and son-in-law Michael Stillwell. He was the best “Poppi” to his grandsons and partners in crime: Thomas, Garrett, and Liam Stillwell. Loving big brother to: Paul Farrell, Joan Keogh, Dennis Farrell, Tim Farrell, and Mary Frances Grossane. His bright smile and sense of humor will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Bishop Laughlin High School. After serving in the Air Force, he graduated from Spring Hill College. He worked in Information Technology for the United States Postal Service and retired after 30 years.

The family welcomes visitors 9-10 AM at the Church of the Incarnation in Charlottesville, Virginia. A Mass and reception will follow.
