Judith Ann Berrey

Judith Ann Cornwell Berrey, 80 of Madison, Va. passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at UVA Hospital. She was born on June 15, 1943 to the late Martha Marie Breeden Cornwell.   She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Cornwell and nephew, Barry Cornwell.

She is survived by her husband, Aubrey Leonard Berrey of Madison; daughter, Debbie Williams Manuel and husband, Terry of Ruckersville; step-daughter, Stephanie Dawn Berrey Dudley of Charlottesville; grandchildren, Brian Harlow (Tonya), Megan Manuel (KJ), William Manuel (Jennifer), Terry Manuel, Jr. (Kristin), Jeff Dudley, Cate Dudley (Evan);

Great-grandchildren, Chloe Harlow, Trey Lam, Aubrey Lam, Mary-Elizabeth Manuel, Ruby-Reign Manuel, Patrick Usher, Virgina Shankle, Freyja Shankle, and her special cat, Bo Berrey.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Pastor Larry Morris. Interment will be in Rose Park/Rapidan Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. at the funeral home.
