Judith Herndon Harrison

Judith Herndon Harrison (Judy), passed away on her 83rd birthday, Sunday December 10, 2023, at Sunrise at Bon Air in Richmond, VA. Born on the same day in 1940, she lived the majority of her life in Charlottesville. She was the daughter of the late Albert Dean Herndon and Katherine Walters Herndon. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Henry Harrison, Jr. Judy was a charter member of Broadus Memorial Baptist Church in Charlottesville.

Judy is survived by her loving son, Michael Dean Harrison and his wife Michelle LeCount Harrison along with two granddaughters, Madison Ashley Harrison and Mackenzie Faith Harrison, all of Midlothian, VA; as well as her beloved extended Herndon family in the Scottsville and Richmond areas.

At her request, services will be private. Judy’s wishes were to be cremated and ashes combined with Paul’s which will be scattered together in the same location Paul chose along Pungoteague Creek on the Eastern Shore.

The family thanks the caring and dedicated management and staff of Sunrise at Bon Air along with The Laurels of Willow Creek for their efforts, respect and support they provided during her time with them.
