Keith Payne Holley, 81, of Charlottesville, died Wednesday December 6, 2023. Born February 22, 1942 in Louisa County, he was the son of the late James Lewis Holley, Sr. and Audrey Payne Holley. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, James L. Holley, Jr., Harold H. Holley, Randolph B. Holley, and three sisters, Virginia Leake, Ann Phillips and Sue Coiner.

Keith worked as an insurance broker for many years in the Washington D.C. area. He was an avid Golfer and was a member of the Virginia State Golf Association. Keith was also an avid boxing fan, and he was one of the original sponsors of Sugar Ray Leonard.

Mr. Holley is survived by his daughter, Carole Ferguson and husband Ray of Henrico; his son, Keith Holley, Jr. and wife Karla of Waynesboro; his loving partner, Sue Pullin of Charlottesville; two brothers, Otis W. Holley and wife Nan of Staunton, Everette C. Holley and wife Patsy of Gordonsville; one sister, Mary Wills and husband Pete of Gordonsville; four grandchildren, William Ferguson, Zachary Ferguson, Ethan Holley, Jocelyn Holley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Mechanicsville Baptist Church, 10200 Louisa Road, Gordonsville, VA 22942, with Pastor Greg Anderson and Pastor Allan Smith officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
