Keymani Kavansa Gardner was born in Richmond, Virginia on April 06, 1993. He departed this life early Thursday morning, May 04, 2023 at his home.

Since birth, Keymani had always been a rambunctious, kind hearted, and joyful soul. From childhood to adulthood he was always his own person and lived life on his own terms, outside the box.

He was educated in the Richmond Public Schools system. Keymani also attended Virginia State University, where he studied Business. He loved being outdoors, laughing, and just hanging with the gang. Key loved to have intellectual and controversial conversations with anyone he came in contact with. You could always depend on him to brighten up your day.

He was preceded in death by his mother Kimberly Brown Gardner (2006) grandfather Sheffield Kenton Gardner

(2009), and his aunt Marlo Brown Carpenter (2022).

He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Kavansa Gardner of Richmond, Virginia; Two sisters, Kimiko Gardner of Raleigh, North Carolina and India Gardner of Richmond, Virginia; two step-brothers, Brandon and Khristian Blair both of Richmond, Virginia; grandpar-ents, Evelyn Gardner of Esmont, Virginia; Delores Brown of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Nathan and Thelma Brown of Hyattsville, Maryland; five Aunts, Simone Gardner of Raleigh, North Carolina, Aleeta Gardner of Woodbridge, Virginia, Sheena Parker of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Zelda Fields of Fort Washington, Maryland, Marilyn Terrell of Adelphi, Maryland; two Uncles, Ryan Brown (Coletti) of Richmond, Virginia and Mike Carpenter of Woodford, Virginia.

He also leaves close family friends, Cassandra Harris,-Terrell Carter, Ariana Smith, Doug Fields, Adrian Hen-derson, Milan Woods, and a host of other family And friends
