Larry William Jones                                      July 1, 2025 Larry William Jones, 65, of Mineral, Virginia, passed away on July 1, 2025, at his home. Born on November 17, 1959, he was the son of the late Carlton and Annie Jones. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Faron Jones; niece, Chrissy Lawson; and his dear friend, Uncle Charlie. 

Larry was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish as well as camping. He enjoyed laughing and telling jokes and always had a joke to share.  

Larry is survived by his brother, Frankie Gheen; his sister, Kay Chaney; niece, Teresa Gheen and his close friends, Donnie Kluczyk and Norris Williams as well as many other friends who will dearly miss him.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. Burial will immediately follow the service at Rose Park Cemetery in Wolftown, Virginia.
