Lucian (Eddie) Edward Cooke

Lucian E. (Eddie) Cooke of Madison, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at his home. He was born on August 17, 1940, to the late Lucian B. Cooke and Eva C. Cooke. He is preceded in death by his brother, John W. Cooke; and sister, Grace C. Pullen. He worked for Crowell Brothers Construction for thirty-nine-plus years. He loved hunting and fishing, working with cows, gardening, and spending time with family. He is survived by his life partner, Nancy Berry; four sons, Eddie Boy, Greg, Richard, Donnie Clore; brother, Doug Cooke; special nephew, Tony Cooke; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 11:00 am, at Bethsaida United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1014 Ridgeview Road, Brightwood, VA, 22715.
