Lucille Holliday

Lucille Payne Holliday was born on May 17, 1928. She lived her whole life in Charlottesville, VA except for a few years living in France while her husband Al was in the military.
Lucille passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Sam Payne Sr., her son David Holliday, her sisters Mildred Benton, Mae Ferneyhough, Juanita Payne and her brother Sam Payne, Jr. and his wife Carol D. Payne.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Alfred "Al" Holliday, her daughter Judy H. Shah and her husband Hasmukh Shah, two sister-in-laws Dorothy Holliday and Nancy H. Berman and many nieces and nephews and loads of wonderful friends. She will be missed.

A service for Lucille will be on Monday July 10 at 1:00 pm at University Baptist Church.
