Mary “Betty” Elizabeth Utz Nichol, 91 of Charlottesville, formally of Madison, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024. She was born on June 16, 1932 to the late Jesse Thomas Utz and Alice Christine Lohr Utz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kenneth Nichol Jr.; brothers, Thomas “Dickie” Richard Utz, Gerald Gordon Utz; sisters, Anna Joyce Gates, Peggy June Carpenter, and Deborah Susan McLain.
Betty worked her entire career for Potomac Edison in Madison, Va.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
