Mary Louise Wilkerson

Mary Louise Wilkerson, 94, passed away peacefully on January 27,2024. She was the wife of the late Ervine Wilkerson, and the last surviving child of Hector and Edith Robillard of Fall River, Massachusetts. Joining her in heaven are her siblings Joseph, Edyth, Hector, Richard, Jeanette, and Daniel, with son-in-law Larry Cason.

Mary was very caring, generous, and wise. She shared her wisdom and opinions freely with others, and also a kind sense of humor that was truly hers. The beach was the place she loved and enjoyed; visiting from the shores of Cape Cod to the Outer Banks and partaking in the sun, sand, surf, and her beloved seafood with family and friends.

Working in various dining establishments, she made a host of very special friends and coworkers alike. She was truly one of a kind, treating all with kindness.

Mary is survived by her children, Deborah, Denise and Kevin, Stephen, and Christine; and her granddaughter Rebecca; and by many relatives in Virginia and New England.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Sorin Laza and the staff of Cornell 3 at Sentara MJH with special thanks to Alexis, Madison, and Romantha for providing exceptional care in Mary's last days of Palliative Care.

A memorial service will be held at a later date per Mary's wishes.
